Is the Availability Calendar up-to-date?

The on-line calendar is updated weekly or bi-weekly but availability changes very quickly during the busy booking season. We will confirm availability with you when you email to reserve our cottage.

How do I book your cottage?

Everything you need to know can be found on our booking page. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at contact@cottageoffun.com.

What payment types do you accept?

We prefer payment by Interac e-Transfer, but also accept payment by personal cheque or cash. We do not accept credit cards, PayPal, or cash on arrival (payment must be made in advance).

Is there a phone, TV, or internet connection?

There is no landline phone. There is coverage for the main cell phone providers. Wifi is provided at our cottage. please use with care

How private is the cottage?

The cottage sits almost 1-acre lot with close to 200 feet of river front. Trees all around our propterty line.

What is provided in the cottage?

It is a 4 season house with forced air heading and air condioning. We provide linen and comforter for beds. At the end of your stay, please remove all used bed sheets, conforter cover and pillow cases from used beds, leave them on floor in bedrooms.

Full kitchen equipment and dishes with dishwashing related products.

What is not provided in the cottage?

Not provided: beach towels, personal toiletries, food and drinks.

What is the waterfront like?

About 100ft shallow with fine sand bottom, allowing for easy access to play. The deep area allowing swimming and boating.

Can we have campfires?

We have a firepit surrounded with chairs just for campfires. Campfires are only permitted in the firepit. Firewood is provided, but please use with care do not waste. Fires must be supervised and kept to a manageable size. Fires must be extinguished with water prior to leaving the firepit area. Fires are not allowed during local fire bans.

Can we have guests come visit?

For many families, entertaining is part of cottage life. All we ask is that you respect our maximun occupancy of 12 persons (including children) at all times.

Can I drink the water at the cottage?

we have 2 filters and 1 uv light to make sure the water is safe to use. but boiling before drinking is recomanded. also added a undersink filter for direct drinking water.

What's the fishing like?

There is excellent fishing in lac des plages. So so so delicious!

Can I bring my boat? Where can I launch it?

The water is shallow, making it hard to anchor a boat. but There is a private boat launch in town of lac des plages. We can provide directions upon request. It cost $20 per use.

What parking is available?

There is parking for up to 4 cars at the entrance area and at front of garages. Please do not drive or park on grass. Please do not block my neigbour driveway.

How far are the closest amenities and services?

8 mins away to small store with gas station at thejunction of 315 and 323. 20 mins to Town of Tremblant.
